Current accounts

Documents required for opening a company  current account

In compliance with the regulations in force regarding the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing and following the criteria of transparency and good banking practices, the request to open current accounts for Companies requires the submission of the following documentation(*):

Listed Companies whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market of the EU or equivalent third countries, as well as their branches and subsidiaries with majority participation.

Additionally for the rest of Companies

 

  1. “Know Your Client” (KYC) form  (Download)
  2. Copy of the Deed or Powers of Attorney given in the name of the proxies translated into Spanish or English duly legalized.
  3. Copy of the Spanish Identification Card / Passport / or any other official document that already indubitable proves the identity, of the designated with power of attorney.
  4. FATCA/CRS Statement. (Download)
  5. Signatures card(s) completed and signed.(Download)
  6. Release from indemnities form.(Download)

 

 

  1.  Copy of deed of incorporation and/or Articles of Association of the company translated into Spanish or English duly legalized.
  2.  Copy of VAT (CIF) number of the company
  3. Copy of the Company´s financial statements, for the previous two years (audited if it is possible).

 

(*) Following the internal procedures, the request to open a current account for Companies is subject to an analysis and authorization process. Submitting the request does not warrant nor oblige Aresbank, S.A. of opening it. Submission of the aforementioned documentation is not exempt from Aresbank, S.A. being able to request additional documentation for those cases in which it is considered that due diligence measures should be strengthened.
